Jewish section
We met up with our tour guide, Steve, at Tower Hill. We walked to a segment of the Roman wall that once protected the city. Walking through a gate in the wall took us to the East End, which has traditionally been the home of recently arrived immigrants.

There were about 20-25 in our group, most of them Brits. There were several know-it-alls.
Some notes follow. I'll finish it when I have time.

We went to the musical, Matilda, in the West End. The Underground was so crowded that we couldn't get on three successive trains that arrived. We were worried about being late to Matilda at that point so we rushed back to our hotel (about a 15 minute walk) and got a taxi.
