October 13, 2014 - Ground Zero

This morning we headed out in the rain to meet up at Tower Hill with our London Walks tour guide, Richard III. It only rained harder and got colder as the day went by.

Our tour began with a boat ride. We got on the tour boat and there was hardly anyone on it, due to the miserable weather. Although the boat had a roof, ALL the seats were wet. You couldn't see out the windows very well due to raindrops. And there was no heat on the boat. A trifecta. And, between his accent and the lousy sound system, you could only understand about half of the narrative provided by a member of the boat's crew. A quarfecta. Is that a word?
